a) conduct or second chair an initial appearance;
b) conduct or second chair a detention hearing;
c) review all discovery pursuant to the standing discovery order of the District of Vermont;
d) analyze discovery/evidence received for possible motions to be filed;
e) participate in any evidentiary hearing or trials;
f) review the United States Sentencing Guidelines and the presentence report and participate in drafting the defense position, including, objections as necessary;
g) conduct or attend the sentencing hearing; and
h) review the file for possible appeals issues;
